- • Email address: used to send constitution reports and daily wellness emails.
- • Age and gender: used for personalised TCM constitution analysis; not used to identify you individually.
- • Quiz responses: 20 health-related questions used to calculate your constitution scores. As health data, these are protected to a higher standard.
- • Geolocation (city/country): auto-detected via IP address for climate and solar term personalisation. We do not collect precise GPS coordinates.
- • Payment data: processed directly by Stripe. We never store your card details.
- • Subscription status: records whether you are an active subscriber, used to control service access.
2. How We Use Your Data
- • Send your personalised TCM constitution report by email
- • Deliver daily wellness emails tailored to your constitution, local weather, and current solar term
- • Process subscription payments and manage subscription status
- • Improve service quality through anonymised analytics
- • We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Sub-processors
- • Supabase (USA): database storage for subscription records and assessment results
- • OpenAI (USA): AI content generation — wellness suggestions are generated by GPT models
- • Stripe (USA): payment processing, PCI DSS compliant
- • Vercel (USA): application hosting
- • Google (USA): YouTube video links embedded in wellness emails
- • Each processor maintains its own privacy policy which we recommend you review as needed.
4. Data Retention
- • Active subscribers: data retained for the duration of the subscription.
- • After unsubscribe: email address retained for 30 days for confirmation purposes, then permanently deleted.
- • Payment records: retained for 7 years as required by applicable law.
- • Assessment data: anonymised and used for service improvement, not linked to your identity.
5. Your Rights
- • Access: you may request a copy of your personal data we hold.
- • Correction: you may request correction of inaccurate data.
- • Deletion: you may request deletion of all your data ("right to be forgotten").
- • Unsubscribe: every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link to immediately stop emails.

6. Cookies & Local Storage
- • We use browser localStorage to save your assessment results and language preference so you do not need to retake the quiz. This data is stored on your device only and not transmitted to third parties.
- • Authentication cookies are set by Supabase and are necessary for the service to function.
7. Minors
- • This service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
8. Policy Changes
- • For material changes to this policy, we will notify active subscribers by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
